HOLIDAY ACT 1951

Section 60D Employment Act 1955 - "Every employee shall be entitled to a paid holiday at his ordinary rate of pay on the Following days in any one calender year :

(a) on 10 of the gazetted public holidays, four of which shall be, i) National day; ii) Birthday of YDPA; iii) Birthday of Ruler of the state iv) Workers' Day

(b) on any day declared as a public holiday under section 8 of the Holidays Act 1951.
